President-Elect Obama announced nominations for his economic team. The nominees were Treasury Secretary Tim Geither, National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers, Council of Economic Advisers Director Christina Romer and Domestic Policy Council Adviser Melody Barnes. He also spoke about the state of the economy, the need for an economic stimulus plan, and outlined several aspects of his economic agenda. He also responded to reporters’ questions.
