Senator Barack Obama talked about the economy and outlined several energy initiatives at a campaign event in the Lansing Center. Among the provisions in his energy plan were programs to support alternative fuel developments, inclusion of offshore oil drilling in a potential compromise energy policy, and personal conservation efforts.
